Fire Resistance
memerase® WhiteWall II™ surfaces meet Federal Specification requirements of G.S.A. CCC-W-408A,B,C,D and the CFFA-W-101-B Quality Standard for Vinyl Coated Fabric Wallcovering. This material has been tested for fire hazard classification in accordance with ASTM E-84 Tunnel Test on reinforced cement board.
*NOTE: The test results referenced herein are not intended to reflect hazards presented by this or any other material under actual fire conditions. Due to increased fire hazard, OMNOVA Solutions does not recommend the installation of its products (excluding borders) over previously applied vinyl, paper or fabric wallcoverings. Consult an architect or fire safety engineer for information on applicable building codes and reduction of fire hazards, including the use of sprinklers.
Physical Properties
memerase WhiteWall II surfaces satisfactorily pass physical requirements for Type II as listed in G.S.A. Federal Specification CCC-W-408A.
memerase WhiteWall II surfaces are PFOA-free. They do not contain, nor will they degrade to Perfluoro Octanoic Acid (PFOA).

Cleaning Procedures
The memerase surface should be washed to remove all adhesive residue with warm water and thoroughly dried with a dry, soft cotton cloth prior to initial use. Common dirt and stains may be removed from the memerase surface with the use of water and a dry, soft cotton cloth. It is important that clean water be used on a consistent basis and that the material be dried thoroughly.
CAUTION: Strong organic solvents and harsh abrasive cleaners may cause dulling, discoloration, and/or softening of the vinyl, causing permanent damage, and will invalidate the warranty. For complete cleaning instructions, see:
memerase Standard Care and Maintenance Instructions
Surface Preparation
Proper surface preparation is essential for a quality installation. Any wall imperfections or irregularities will be noticeable after the memerase surface is installed; the wall surface must be prepared to a Level 5 specification. For further information, please see the memerase Installation Instructions.
