With more than 50 years in emulsion polymers, OMNOVA Solutions has demonstrated an ability to focus on pinpoint requirements, those subtle, yet critical needs that make the difference in product performance. From this legacy, we have developed an impressive portfolio of styrene butadiene (SB) and acrylic chemistries for pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA), bonding/laminating adhesives, tape release coatings and saturants. These serve as the foundation for custom formulations that we are eager to tailor specifically to your needs.

Pressure Sensitive Adhesives

NovaCryl™ pressure sensitive adhesives can be used in permanent and removable applications. These products can be supplied for your compounding operations, or OMNOVA can custom design and supply coater-ready formulations per yourrequirements.OMNOVA’s desire is to meet your specific needs, and we are prepared to design tack, shear and adhesion levels based on application demands. Our products typically are compatible with many formulating ingredients, including wetting aids, tackifiers and viscosity modifiers.

Our lines of AcryGen®, GenCryl®, GenCeal®, Sequabond® and PolyFox™ products offer an excellent technology base for adhesive formulations.

Release Coatings and Saturants

OMNOVA offers a full line of aqueous silicone and organic release systems for the paper tape PSA industry,including our well-known Suncryl® release coatings. Our release systems are customized to accommodate processing and performance needs for high speed/low speed release, adhesion, cure rate, high temperature and humidity resistance, and printable release surfaces. In addition, our lines of GenFlo® and AcryGen paper saturants offer superior dry strength and tensile properties, excellent mechanical stability for high-speed saturators and increased water holdout.

Our products are manufactured at facilities in Chester, South Carolina, Mogadore, Ohio, Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Green Bay, Wisconsin and Calhoun, Georgia. We can handle drums, totes, bulk truck or bulk rail shipments. For overseas customers, we ship drums, totes or flexitanks.
