Cascade is the foundation of the new Pinnacle™ performance fabrics brand. Cascade features a faux leather design with a soft hand in a non-PVC and plasticizer-free construction. It has been engineered to deliver a balance of luxury along with the durability to accommodate the performance needs of many interior environments. Its 18 on-trend colors are favorites of designers and specifiers. Cascade is ideal for corporate, hosptiality and healthcare interiors.
Cascade is a versatile polyurethane fabric with a polyester knit backing. This is OMNOVA's first urethane design to offer the Company's proprietary PreFixx® protective finish. Cascade upholstery with PreFixx finish resists stain penetration for unique, long-term protection.
Cascade has been specifically engineered to not delaminate due to hydrolysis related failures in indoor environments. Hydrolysis is the transformation of a chemical compound by reaction with water/moisture. Cascade meets Grade-A performance requirements set forth in D3690-02 (2009), which specifies performance requirement grades levels for a variety of product attributes, including properties associated with hydrolytic stability, such as adhesion, colorfastness, surface abrasion and resistance to flexing.
