OMNOVA Solutions continues its commitment to the surfacing industry with the periodic launch of new laminate designs. New for 2012, OMNOVA and Roseburg debuted four rich woodgrain laminate designs that have been expertly matched across the two businesses' portfolios supporting the cabinetry and retail store fixtures markets. These new designs have been collaboratively developed for Roseburg's Duramine® decorative melamine products and OMNOVA's 3D laminate offerings. By providing these designs in multiple constructions, such as thermally fused melamines (TFM) and vinyl laminates, the two companies are enabling customers to value engineer custom solutions for their end use products.
For GlobalShop 2011, OMNOVA introduced 26 new Paper Laminates designs, as well as unveiled its all new duraMAX™ Flat Laminates. duraMAX Flat Laminates are high performance and cost effective alternatives to TFMs and vertical-grade high pressure laminates (HPL), featuring superior impact, abrasion and stain resistance. These products offer the same aesthetic values as TFMs but do not require two-sided lamination, enabling customers to value engineer their products for a variety of end-use markets, including retail store fixtures, furniture for healthcare and corporate office environments, as well as closet and home storage.
In addition to our Paper and 3D Laminates, OMNOVA also offers a wide range of surf(x) 3D Laminates, Flat Laminates and EFX™ 3D Laminates — eco-friendly laminates, featuring the same performance characteristics as traditional 3D Laminates, but in a non-PVC construction.
OMNOVA Laminates are ideal for a number of end use applications, including office furniture, healthcare environments, retail fixtures, residential cabinetry and the RV/manufactured housing industry.
These newest designs are in response to changing color and design trends and enable the design and specifier community to easily and accurately coordinate interior environments with the most desirable look and feel of today.
