education icon EDUCATION

Education is one of our core areas of giving and in 2017, we provided $965,737 to educational programs throughout the United States. This funding supports our efforts to bring people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds together for even more comprehensive educational opportunities.

The Academy for Teaching and Learning

The mission of The Academy for Teaching and Learning is to establish a collaborative learning community in which individual children are known, respected, and accepted, and where every decision made is based on an intimate knowledge of what each child needs in order to become a successful and productive grown-up.

Our civic support provides a solid foundation of overall health and wellness for our community as a whole. In 2017 we provided $249,180
to various organizations to serve the emotional, spiritual, and economic needs of our community.

Reaching Above Hopelessness and Brokenness Ministries, Inc

RAHAB Ministries provides transitional assistance and support for women who are incarcerated, homeless, recovering from the street life or who are in need of housing, gaining employment, food, clothing, personal items, and home furnishings at no cost to them.


A healthy community is a better community. When people feel good they perform better in school, at work and in their daily lives. In 2017 we provided $185,800 for the resources necessary for community members to lead a healthy and full life.

Stewart’s Caring Place

The mission of Stewart’s Caring Place is to provide a caring, relaxed environment offering supportive services and programs for individuals and families on their cancer journey.

Support services are free-of-charge, and include lectures and workshops, a resource center, healing arts, community referrals, movement classes, counseling, attorney consults, children and family programs, support groups and wigs.

Art, music and dance can enhance our lives, and provide joy and beauty in a world where it’s needed most. This is why in 2017 we provided $25,250 to organizations that serve as tools of inspiration and provide us with an overall higher quality of life.

Friends of Calhoun’s GEM Theatre Inc.

The Friends of Calhoun’s GEM Theatre is a non-profit organization composed of dedicated individuals that donated countless hours to raise money to restore Calhoun, Georgia’s landmark theatre. The GEM Theatre is a 461 seat historically restored theatre that strives to bring a wide diversity of shows featuring both local and national acts into the theatre each year and hopes to offer something for everyone.


Not only do we strive to bring our communities together by supporting external resources, we also encourage our team members to take action in creating a better world through our Employee Community Leadership Awards.
